Relations between India and UAE are have constantly expanded with four high-level visits between the two countries in the last three years. Both governments have sped up the process to transform the ties between India and the UAE from just a buyer-seller relationship into a strategic alliance. The initial momentum to elevate the bilateral relations came from the comprehensive strategic partnership, signed between H. E Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Modi.The 2nd edition of India – UAE Strategic Conclave will further the vision of the inaugural edition by identifying key areas for more investment flows between India and UAE. The daylong conference will also identify new rewarding sectors in order to widen the scope of bilateral investments. Key business leaders and senior government officials will come together to lay the blueprint for greater economic cooperation between the two countries and explore the economic gains through boosting both the countries’ status as major trade hubs and key gateways to regional and international markets.

The Agenda for 2018 will focus on the below topics

• Largest Oil Importer and 5th Largest Exporter coming together
• Common Economic Objectives
• Operationalization of the India UAE Infrastructure Fund
• Food Security
• Cooperation in the Indian Ocean region
• Promotion of regional security and stability

Dr Ankur Dana was Quoted Saying ” UAE has emerged as a major manufacturing destination with Industries being given the necessary push by the UAE Government and Active promotion of #MADEINUAE , UAE has increasingly diversified it’s economy from being dependent on OIL alone” . Various Dignitaries Including Dr B.R Shetty ( Founder and Chairman NMC Healthcare) , M.A Yusuff Ali ( Founder Lulu group) , Navdeep Suri ( Ambassador of India to the UAE).

May 2017 – It is indeed an honor for all of us @danagroups to be recognized at the Forbes Middle East Top Indian Leaders in the Arab World event held at the Westin, Dubai on 10th May 2017.

At the event, Dr Dana was recognized for his impressive personality and achievements over the past years. Also, some key Second Generation Entrepreneurs were recognized at the event, including Dr Ankur Dana and Dr Ruchi Dana. Dr Ruchi Dana was also invited to be part of an interactive panel discussion discussing the challenges and opportunities offered to Second Generation Entrepreneurs. The panel was moderated by Mr Gaurav Tandan, and the panelists were Dr Ruchi Dana, CEO, Dana Mart Hypermarket and Mr Adel Sajan, Director Danube Group from the Second Generation and Mr Yogesh Mehta from Petrochem Middle East, Mr Ram Buxani from ITL Group and Mr Bharat Bhatia, Conares Steel.

Forbes List is very well known source for industry rankings around the world and Dr Dana is honored to be on the Forbes Top Indian Leader in the Arab world 2017! Dr B.S. Dana is featured in the 2017 May edition of Forbes Middle East Magazine. The Second Generation Enterpreneurs Dr Ankur Dana and Dr Ruchi Dana are also featured in the same edition.
